Your Archetypes are an expression of your patterns of feelings, thoughts and behavior. A kind of inner characters or identity structures that make up your personality and show you (and the world) what is typically you, your TRUE self. It shows you your strengths and how you act, think and feel. Also on a bad day when your challenges are in the play.
Or to put it another way, Archetypes define your identity, the identity you 100% stand for.
We understand Archetypes intuitively, which is why we all understand the image of “Mother”, “Rebel”, “Explorer” or “Hero”. They all create certain images in your head, but not only that, they also create an understanding of how these characters are, both on a high frequency (at their best) and on the low frequency (at their worst).
Your Business Archetypes
When you brand your business using your strengths, you tap into certain Archetypes that are already in your DNA, which makes it easy for you to use those strengths. Usually we operate with 2 – 3 Archetypes when we work professionally, no matter what industry we are in. You have one main Archetype you pull your strengths from at all times, but in this Archetype there are also certain challenges that you need to overcome to work at your best. This Archetype shows you how you lead.
The next Archetype – your #2 Archetype – will make your leading style look different from other people who have the same leading Archetype. It will bring structure and substance to your brand, and make you stand out as authentically YOU.
For example, if your Signature Archetype is The Alchemist, in order to create structure and meaning to your brand, and to make it stand out in the crowd of Alchemists, you have an influencing Archetype making sure you do that.
If you find yourself struggling with something you know is totally yours, you just cannot seem to get past it, you are probably on a low vibration in your Signature Archetype, and need to transform that so you can step into the strength.
When we keep our spirit high, we are working at our best, totally leaning in on our strengths and talents. We are in the flow, using our skills easily and everything seems so smooth. When we lose our high spirits for some reason, we often struggle, we feel challenged – and we are actually challenged. At this state we can really sabotage ourselves.
On a high vibration, we have access to the talent in the Archetype, there’s lots of energy and happiness, we want to do goods things and easily let go of things that bug us when we are in challenge mode.
